My work is deeply rooted in the exploration of domestic space and its perception by outside observers. Many of these images create a sense of voyeurism as a viewer, glimpsing at an image that was once familiar to someone. When I started the project, I first just wanted to start a collection of these images that gave me this feeling. It's almost as if I am giving them a new home after they have lost their original one. Over the process of the collection of these images, I have begun to question why someone would ever want to get rid of a picture like this. That question still baffles me, and I hope that through the continual growth of this work over time, I can get closer to an answer.
